I am getting an error message when I try to run portal on my dell inspiron e1405 with windows xp. It used to load, then crash when I saw a portal in game. Now it crashes when it gets to the title menu. It says "HL2 has performed an error and must close" send error message to microsoft? I guess it says hl2 because it runs on the hl2 engine. I tried to reinsatll my graphics driver, but that did not fix it. Any ideas on how to fix this?
"HL2 has performed an error and must close" Then it asks: send error message to microsoft? Then the game closes. It says HL2 even though I'm trying to play portal.
