i need to move my itunes library from my laptop to my pc desktop, alot of my songs are from bearshare and are in one folder and have to be on the same pc as the itunes library... i really need someone's explanation on how to do this!
You can use iTunes to archive all your songs on DVD's and transfer them to your PC's iTunes Drop in a blank DVD, hit "file" Then "backup disc" Easy peasy
You can copy your music folder to a usb memory stick. Copy the folder to the laptop and add it to itunes.
i did that, i copied my itunes library from my laptop, then i went on the itunes on my desktop, and like i did import library, didnt work at all.... i need a step by step thing very detailed what to do!
In itunes go to file and there should be a option to add a folder. Click add folder then browse for the music folder and it should import it.
I dont use bearshare. If you can find the path bearshare keeps the music files at then copy the folder and do the same thing. It should work there has to be a folder location somewhere.
ok so tell me in detail exactly what i have to do.. cuz im a newbie at this remember my laptop has no cd thing.. and my desktop already has itunes installed on it!
I've closed your last multipost for this topic rjbrown. Do not open another one for this problem. Do you have iTunes on both your Desktop and Laptop? Can you network with them via ethernet?
