Since it's factory overclocked I doubt I can get any more performance from it, but is it possible without it being blown up? Btw, why did 8800GT is better than GTS and cheaper? That sux!!
You could over clock it more, but I would suggest aftermarket cooling. The 8800GT is better because it has a bigger processor, and higher clocks. It also has more memory (than the 320mb version). Nvidia are releasing a new GTS soon, and I believe it may be on par with a GT.
You can, but you'll hardly get any extra performance out of it. I tend to find that extra cooling doesn't help. Read: dropped my temps by a full 30C using an HR-03, and I can't overclock a single mhz more...
My Evga step-up program ended like 1.5 months ago.... I coulda stepped down to GT... I still don't get why it's cheaper. Oh well, at least I am beginning to get weird lines and shapes in crysis demo, I could use that as an excuse to make them give me anot her card.. or something.
