syncmaster 215tw 1080p questions

    I recently removed my ps3 from my plasma tv(burn in) and decided to connect it to my samsung syncmaster 215tw monitor so I connect my ps3 with the hdmi cable from the ps3 and used a hdmi-dvi adapter to connect it to the monitor I was able to get 1080p with no problems but,I have no audio so I decided to connect it with component now I get 1080i with audio I was just qondering if anybody has this monitor or know how to connect it with hdmi and still get audio thanks

    Check and see if your monitor has a "Digital Audio" option.

    If it does try enabling it and see if that fixes your problem.
