Hey guys, I just installed a printer on my computer, and my it seems like my computer really lags. I am still running tiger, but I am probably going to be installing leopard later today when I get it. But now as I am typing, the letters will show up on the screen like a half second after I press them. But it isn't just in safari, but everything is slow. Is there anyway to change like startup programs or ways to just speed up my mac? I could use the help, so thanks guys. Newb to macs.

    Hello, guessswho:

To speed up your Mac, you may want to run some maintenance applications, such as: Onyx, Cocktail and DiskWarrior.

I'm not sure about what you're referring to as "startup programs," but login items can be found in System Preferences > Accounts.

    Cheers
