Overclocking CD2 E6400/Asus PB5 deluxe mobo

    Sorry to post this in here and not in the OC topic (thought it might get lost in there!), and sorry for the n00by questions.

    Gone into the bios and into the pc jumper section and changed ai tuning to manual. Changed cpu feq to 300, dram freq to 600, pci clock sync mode to 33.33 and lastly changed cpu vcore voltage to auto. Rebooted the pc gone into dxdiag and it still shows my cpu running at 2.13. Im trying to get the cpu up to 3gig.

    Sorry for being a pain in the ass and sorry for my ignorance but where am i going wrong?

    2 gig corsair xms2 5400
    hiper 580watt psu
    antec 900

    Since I don't overclock I can't help you, but try this site:

    BTW, I hope your not overclocking to 3Ghz with the stock fan. If you are OC with the fan that came with you CPU you should get a better fan.
