Ripped DVD plays on pc but not table top DVD player

    I just ripped my first DVD as a newbit and everything went okay involving the splitting it into 2 parts and then I went to burn it using Nero, that went okay too, so i then went to play it on my table top dvd player in my lounge and it just came up saying no disk!

    Please Help

    can you just create a disk image and just write it back to a disk that way, and would it work???
