Hey everyone, havent posted in a while but was just wondering had anyone ever heard of, and more importantly used, Magnavox DVD media?

Office Max has a Black Friday deal for a 100 pack of 16x DVD+R for $16. I searched a bit and couldnt find any info here, they are not even on the Master list above in the Topic "Nice list of Media" etc.

go here to see more OM Black Friday deals

This has some anecdotal comments regarding Magnavox media.
They seem to be manufactured by CMC lately.

Great link backohead. I've spent hours on there locating some good christmas presents to pick up.I'm dying to find out what wallyworld has on sale.

The Black Friday dvd media, I'd go this route:

1)Office Depot: 100 pks for $17.99. These coded as Ritek and Ricoh for the +16x in the past.

2) Radio Shack's 50 pk of Memorex for $9.99. I've bought 4 different batches of their +16x and all yielded Ricohjpn-R03 MID code. These are some very good discs and definitely lifted the bar for Memorex corp.I can't dawg on them anymore.

3) Sears: Maxell 50 pks for $6.99. Their +16x media has been Cmags. Decent if you got a quality burner, but no ricoh or ritek quality.

4) Office Max: Flier not on there for those magnavox. Look at the wrapper and make sure they don't say Made in China or some other country other than taiwan.

5) Staple's Kodak,$5.98 a 50 pk. I'm curious on these.

There's also some dynex at Best Buy. I wouldn't even risk it.

I'm still getting my gameplan together for thursday and friday, but can't wait to run some people over, LOL.

BigToxy: You out there? I'm disappointed with the Staple's listing. No playos this year, LOL.
