i wanted to mod a few of my systems but all the mod chips are like $20 or more. i have seen them really cheap before but i cant find them any more. i wanted to mod a ps2 and a game cube. another thing i need is a guide on the proper method to solder. last time i moded a ps2 i nearly blew it up by shorting 3 pins together on the bieos chip. luckly i had desolder wick. so if you know a site for cheap mod chips or a guide that can teach the proper way to solder pleas let me know.

I've been searching quite a bit and cheapest place I have found for all modchips is: http://www.sunflyinggame.com XenoGC 2.0 is $3.50 and Wiikey is $2 for example. Of course it's probably a clone, but my clone has been working fine for me.
thanks. now i just need to learn to solder better and get a game cube case mod.the only thing is i cant use the magic mod chip . i had one of them befor but that ps2 was stolen and now i have a v9 ps2 and that one is only forup to v8.
