Shrek DVD rip audio and video way out of sync

Used vcd galaxy to convert to vcd -
audio and video way out of sync!.
I then used dvd2mpeg 1.16 to convert,same problem again.The DVD files are on my hard drive-using the ripper in vcd galaxy (version 2.6)
Any ideas?

VCDGalaxy is pretty much out of date nowadays. It's very likely that your DVD is NTSCFilm as these 24fps movies tend to cause audio synch issues. Try our guide -- I haven't been able to ***k up any of my DVD rips using this guide so far:
