what graphics card to get?

    Hi, here is a questions for you:

    You have $130-$180 to spend on a graphics card at www.canadacomputers.com (not including tax...or anything else)

    what card would you get and why?

    Well considering that 256 MB is not really enough anymore, I would say get a 8800GT 512MB version, which should come down to 200USD in few weeks. Of course since now CAD is worth more, it should be even cheaper now.

    i might have to go with a 8600 due to my PSU and lack of funds...but i am not into gaming so i will be fine (just some other vid stuff)

    If you're not into gaming, an 8600GTS should be more than sufficient.
