I an about to try using dvdflick because Ive been told I need to convert the avi files I have over before burning to a disc with ashampoo burning studio 7. Does anyone know if I can just use dvd flick to convert and burn to a disc? This is becoming a major issue because Ive tried a lot of programs already .
You currently have 3 threads going, I know they are on different programs but it would make it easier for members offering assistance to know what you have and havent tried, therefore might I suggest you keep all the info to one thread, Cheers. BTW: I cannot assist as I ONLY use NeroVision or ConvertXtoDVD when burning my AVI files. Have you checked the GUIDE section or even this link http://webpages.charter.net/bacitup/
Yes it can. It will encode AVI files and turn them into DVD. It will also burn your project to a disc after encoding. I believe it almost has the same functionality as ConvertXtoDVD.
pirateboy - i've just closed some of your multiposts and i see there's been other multiposts closed by other mods over the last few weeks; let's please see your posting habits improve and stick to this one...
Can anyone offer any advice or an explaination on why my movies start with the sound distorted (jumpy/skippy)? I convert with DVD FLick, walk away and let the program do its thing come back and then burn. This may sound like a redundent question but, does the file need to be an iso to play on a dvd player or can the they be (Blank) work computer and dont have the files with me. Descriprion of the file: I believe video and audio ts folders.
FFDSHOW is one of several media decoder and encoder that is used to encode DVDs to AVIs and vice-versa. Download the latest stable version. Also, reduce your burn speed to 4X.
All you have to do is install FFDSHOW; it'll run on the background during the encoding process. But if you need a guide for DVD Flick here's one... http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/552742
DVD Flick converts the movie and FFDShow runs in the background, is it supposed to improve quality/audio; i could only assume?? Can FFD be used soley for the conversion to an iso image? And how much longer does this make the conersion time?
