PLEASE ANSWER THIS SIMPLY!

I simply want to put a .avi movie onto a DVD-R!

When I burn it onto the DVD as .avi the sound doesn't work on my DVD player!

Which format can I burn it onto the DVD-R as to make it work!?

PLEASE HELP THOROUGHLY! I NEED A CONCISE ANSWER WITHIN 2 HOURS!

What happens in 2 hours? You turn into a pumpkin( sorry, I mean a blank dvd disc)

I prefer using convertxtodvd but the free program dvdflick also works very well.
