I've installed Windows XP Professional and it doesnt reads CDR's I recorded under Win98. Those CD's are redable under Win98 now and was redable earlier for sure, i've tested this. I was using Nero Burnin Rom for recording. It seems to me this is Driver problem cuz neither windows explorer nor other file-manager software can proper read files from cdr. Windows XP see all files on cdr, but cannot read or copy most of them. So, this is my problem. Please help.
Was the disc burned usin the built in burning option from WXP? If so you need to install a incd/udf reader on the w98 machine
I think we having missanerstood here. I'm saying that it cant read cd's under WinXP burned earlier under Win98. I'm also saying that WinXP has some disadvantages to Win98, cuz cd's redable under 98 are unredable under XP.
I have the same problem. CD-r's i have burned with windows98 cannot be read in neither WinXP nor Win2k. Wouldnt like having to install w98 again to read them, must be some way to read them under wxp/w2k._X_X_X_X_X_[small]Asus A7N8X-D Barton 2500+ Radeon 9800pro 128mb 1gig RAM 380gig HD (2*120gig, 80gig, 60gig)[/small]
