    I have a Samsung SGH-C417, the IMEI is: 352711/01/449846/9
Country: united states, Network: it was a cingular sim card phone, trying to unlock it and use it for iwireless(tmobile)... unlike the nokia phones I have changed over from cingular to iwireless(tmobile) when I turn the Samsung on it doesn't automatically go to a spot for me to enter a code it says Wrong Card and if it has SOS on the right side quick nav button... if there is a way to unlock this and use it on iwireless(tmobile) let me know.

Thank you in advance to anyone that can help.

    well.. I found this

    "Try this

    1. Insert other providers sim
    2. *2767*3855# wait for your phone to reboot(restart)
    3. *7465625*638*00000000*00000000# (this changes network lock w/password 00000000)
    4. #7465625*638*00000000# (this deactivates network lock w/00000000)
    5. *#7465625# to check all locks
If all are inactive, then you are good to go.
u can unlock x495.x497.x660.t509.t809 and latest, plus of course T-209.

    Enjoy!"

in another thread... and it seemed to work, so if that's not what I'm supposed to do, reply, but it seems to be working so I'm good for now.
