What protection does windows xp professional (bootable) have. Or what do I select when I burn the image.
if u meam Windows XP cd, then its doesnt have any protection, so u may just copy files with any software. However it contains additional stuff in boot section that makes it a bootable cd. To also restore this information you should backup cd with image-doing software.
Will Alcohol 120% do the trick? If I put it in unprotected cd?_X_X_X_X_X_[small]How are you gentlemen? All your base are belong to us!! You are on the way to destruction. You have no chance to survive make your time. HA HA HA HA .... [/small]
what is really amusing is the fact MS has the gale to print on the Original WinXP cd "Do not make illegal copies of this disc" yet MS made NO attempt at even preventing the disc from being copied phsyiscally.. Duh kinda defeats the point of the dont copy crap printed on the disc doesnt it? Ohh yea now I remember what MS attempt at protecting XP was : WPA - Windows Product activation or whatever it was called.. Ohh eya that worked really well didnt it lol
Yes but any such protection would have to be available during a boot from ISO and that has the tendency to be a PR nightmare -- even worse than the stupid activation shit.
