Hello, I am looking for some help regarding the Nokia 6288 phone. The phone will function perfectly EXCEPT for the screen. It has a total of 6 problems. a)screen inverts colurs b)Screen flips upside-down c)screen goes black d)screen scrambles into strange lines e)colours lose contarst. All of these problems occurr at random intervals, there is no pattern between what the phione is doing at the time and when it appears. there is no order, one problem may happen 5 times in a row. Also, they are all temporary-usually 5-15 seconds and the phone goes back to normal. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks
Did you ever find a solution to this problem?? I have the same issue and upgrading the firmware also didn't work for me. One thing worth noting is that the phone seems to work fine when playing Java games, I don't know if that is the same for you though.
I found out the issue, hooray! It's probably too late for the original poster of this issue, but after much research I found out that the flex cable ribbon needs to be replaced. It makes that if you open and close the phone after a while something will break.
