Hey, Im looking to get a new computer.. I can and have built tonnes of computers but have decided to get one made for me to save time / effort / warranty etc etc. Soo out of intrest what do you guys think of this computer: Here] Or for the guys that cba to load up a new page its: Acer T180 For £250 ($515) * CPU - AMD Athlon 64 4000+ Dual Core * 1GB Memory * 250GB * DVD-RW * Nvidia Geforce 6100 * Keyboard ,mouse,Speakers * MS Works * Windows Vista Home Premium Plus the following upgrades: Another stick of some kick ass RAM. Some sort for £50 ($100) GPU. So all in all $600 for that?? Thanks a lot Lecsiy
If you're upgrading that many parts, it'd be simpler to build the system yourself. If you've built loads of PCs, you'll be able to knock one up in a pretty short space of time, and you'll end up with far higher quality stuff (especially so since this is an acer PC). The 1GB memory module they use will be cheap, nasty stuff, the speakers provided will be pretty ass, and the power supply will be barely more powerful than an imprisoned hamster. All you're getting out of that is a copy of Vista for cheap. Sorry to put a downer on things but I don't think that's a worthwhile proposition. (Besides, a £50 GPU isn't going to beat your X1800GTO)
