   Just wondering about something. I've split an Xvid file with virtualdub and had to name the 2 respective parts blah1.avi and blah2.avi. Are those still Xvid files with the xvid codecs or just regular avi files??

   depends on whether or not u selected Direct Stream Copy for the video!
