Saw this on at a local store it's 110 for this it's a Liteon LDW-401S-WI dvd burner. I'm wanting to get one so i can make backups of my kids dvd movies, since they have destroyed 2 so far. is this good enought for that?
Yea is that burner good? Because today was black friday and the Lite-on dvd burner was on sale today for like $90. I asked a circuit city person if it was good and he said it was a good burner and a good deal for $90. So i decided to get it but did not try it yet. I don't even know what brand of media to get. I want to get dvd-r's, but what brand should i get that will work for it. I really wanted to get unbranded media like ritek and optonostic because the media tends to be cheap when you buy online. So is the Lite-on dvd burner good? Is there a site where you can check what dvd-r's and +r's are compatiable for burners.
