I just installed a visiontek 1650pci graphics card and then loaded and went to play gears of war and the game looks and plays like crap. Is this card not up to the task of playing this game in its highest quality? I would hope that I maybe have somthing hooked up wrong or somthing(drivers), but I have installed and uninstalled many times, and also been on the phone with tech support. I was just wondering If anyone knew if this card can handle this game and others such as cod4 ect. I would hope so since its a 150.00 card, but if not I guess im screwed. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
No, the x1650 isnt that great. Especially for gaming... A x1950pro would do much better, maybe not max out gears of war, but close to it.
That sucks, I wasnt aware that you needed such a high end card to run those games. Whats the best card for the money?
