What Burning Software for a Sony CRX230E CD Writer?

    I have purchased a Sony CRX230E CD Writer but I cannot find any software to support it. it didnt come with any and i have tried Nero and B'S Recorder Gold but they wont recognise the drive.

    Clone CD works OK with it so I know it is working OK.

    Can anyone advise where to get burning software from that will support this drive?

    All you need to do is download the latest ASPI drivers from Nero's website install them and Nero will work fine. See below for link to latest ASPI drivers:

    As for Nero, you might have to update to a newer version as the newer versions add more support for newer model burners.

    I had the exact same problem with nero 5 all versions and fixed it with the updated aspi drivers
