Philips SPD7000P Blu-Ray Drive and NERO 8 Ultra

I have a Philips SPD7000P Blu-Ray Drive and NERO 8 Ultra. I,ve been trying to make a Blu-Ray movie using .m2ts files from my Sony HDR-SR1 Camcorder. Nero makes the movie and the video clarity is fine, but the video runs at like 1.5 times the normal speed; it almost looks like a Chalie Chaplin movie. I've tried changing Quality settings, but I'm stumped. I'm running the latest version of NERO 8 and I've updated the firmware on the drive. I sent an e-mail to Nero, but I have yet to get an answer (other than the email acknowledgement).

I've also tried Cyberlink Power Producer (v3.07.04) and ULead BD Disk Recorder (v2.5) and neither of them recognize the .m2ts files.

Any help would be appreciated.
