Nero drains system resources

    i used the search and found nothing about this so if anyone can help me in anyway plz reply.
    when burning cd's my available RAM drops to very low numbers and slows down the system, normaly the free ram is around 350mb, but when burning goes down to about 5mb free!i have 512mb ram, DMA is on, cpu-usage is around 2-5%.i use nero burning rom 6.0, winxp pro SP1. i used to have win ME instaled and this didnt happen altough i had nero 5.5 then. help anyone?

    Shouldnt happen unless you fiddled with the exper settings and somehow set the RAM usage to more than 80MB. File --> Preferences --> Ultrabuffer --> Set to Automatic or hardcode it

    never hapenned again after i made a decent defrag with norton but thx for replying :)
