NEED HELP TROUBLESHOOTING MESSIAH

OK, I am fairly sure that I have got everything connected properly. Now, this is a V5 or V6 PS2 and a V1.30 messiah 2 pro. When everything is connected, I cant turn on the PS2 from standby using the top button, but I can turn it on usig the eject tray. It wont read any games yet either, Anyone had this problem? anyone know how to fix it?

Any help is greatly appreciated. THX.
