    Hello

Wondering if someone could point me in the right direction, i have just purchased an external harddrive, for my pictures, music and stuff, and what i was wondering do you normally put software on the drive that you dont use on a day to day basis to save space on your normal drive like for instance i also play Championship manager which is a very big game, but i dont play it daily and to save space do please normally play it from there external harddrive.

also for pictures i currently use the kodak application for all my pics do i move that to the drive also instead of having on my main comp

sorry if i sounds really thick

    Cheers

You can put anything you like on an external hard drive, but it's usually wise to keep what you use often on your main PC's hard drive, simply because it'll be much faster. Internal hard drives can run up to 70MB/s whereas with a USB2 hard drive you're limited to only 30.
I however, install most of my games to a networked PC, which because of my current network setup can only work at a tiny 9MB/s. Nonetheless, everything still works. As long as you're happy to put up with reduced speed, shove whatever you want on there.
