well i was reading about the zune and some people said u cant put avi/divx movies in your zune dat u got to convert them which takes like a couple hours and i dont want to do dat is there any other way? dat sucks if u do have to do dat cuz i got kinda alot of videos i want to put and i also heard it has no eq which is true wow all these small problems makes u not want to get the zune n im scared to buy the ipod cuz i heard they stop working real fast dats why could someone plz help me decide
Both have their propriety formats that they use - I prefer neither one. So that's where the converting comes into play. Why not check out the Creative Zen or Archos - both will play most divx w/o converting them. It's as simple as a drag and drop on the player.

I have the 30 gig and love it. So much easier then the pain in the butt iPod and iTunes So the few bucks more is worth it to me then dealing w/ propriety formats. Yes it is a little bigger then the iPod or Zune but if you're looking to play video the screen size is a big as one of those - big plus. I also take it running w/ me - not that big where it won't fit in your pocket.
yea they look good is just i hear more music though im gonna take it with me when i excercise and school probably when i get older il buy it but if u think about it i really dont need a super good mp3 player. an average music/video will do for me but could u tell me something plz which sounds better the zune or ipod?
No experience with the Zune at all - so I have no comparison. iPods are good - most people I know with them have not had a problem with them. Zune though I think has dropped their prices. I'd go to a local store that sells them and give them a 'test listen'.
