can someone please help me. this is my first time building a pc. I got it to start at first but after updating for windows update sp2 its not longer working. It just turns on for about 2-3seconds then its shuts off and turns back on. the back fan works my cpu fan is about to start spinning but then it shuts down. Please help!!!! any any advice on what i might be doing wrong. Has the PC only recently been built, or has it been running fine for several months and suddenly has issues after SP2? If the PC is newly built, service pack 2 may just be a coincidence and you may have a faulty power supply.
