i just got a pci card that converts the slot to a pcmcia card. i got it for my spare dell 1350 wireless card for my computer. when it came in, i searched and downloaded the driver, put the pci card in, turned the pc on again, but when i tried to install the hardware, i got this code 10 and would not allow me to install the hardware. i tried searching google but i could not really find a solution for it. can anybody help me?

when i downloaded the software/driver thing from dell, i ran it and it said no hardware found that is compatible. im stuck here..

i also tried putting it in a different pci slot, but that didnt work. with both slots, the boot up always messes up. it goes to this screen and tells me my computer specs, then says pci error 1806. i have no clue what that is. and i also have to manually boot up my hard drive if its in there. when i take it out, then it boots up fine.

that error is a ethernet port conflict.

I dont understand, did you install the PCI to PCIMA adapter first without conflict, or did that go fine, but the PCIMA wireless card cause errors when booting when it was plugged in upon boot.
