    Whats your budget?

    You will need something with the 680i northbridge and a socket LGA 775 for the cpu.

    Personally I'd go for either the MSI P35 Paltinum or the Gigabyte P35

    The MSI has a p35 chipset, which wont allow for SLi if he wanted to, and since he wants an 8800GT, the 2nd PCI-e slot will be useless.

    And the same with the gigabyte...

    There was no mention of wanting SLi??

    If he still wanted to use a single card I would plersonally still go for the P35 Chipset models as the features / results / price ratio is still fantastic.

    I know he didnt mention it, but if he ever wanted to do it in the future...
