ratDVD WPM 11 can not play file

Hi I wonder if you can give me a clue of what could be wrong...
I have a HP dv6646us
AMD Turion 64x2
NVIDIA Graphics
Nero, DirectX 10, WPM11, ratDVD installed

but when I tried to play a ratDVD file with WPM11 I just receive a black screen in WPM11 not even an error message or codec error. Whya could I do to fix this? If there any other alternative sw to play ratDVD files?
