How to run PSX games on the PSP.
Things Needed:
A PSP with custom firmware
Clone CD:
http://static.slysoft.com/SetupCloneCD.exe
Zinga Burga's Popstation
http://zinga.quotaless.com/PsGUI/PsGUI300beta.rar
Disc of a PSX game you want to rip for the PSP
1. Put the PSX CD in the computer CD Drive
2. Run Clone which you downloaded above
3. Click on the video game option
4. Name the extraction, possibly the name of the game your ripping. Then select the destination folder.
5. Hit 'Start/go/proceed...(i cant remeber right now)... Your game is now dumping to your hard drive. Depending on how big the game is, that's how long it will take.
6. After it's done go to the destination folder
7. Now you need to make a EBOOT.pbp so it can be read by the PSP
8. Open up Zinga's popstation which you downloaded above.
9. Click on Browse.
10. Find The IMG file it came with when you ripped it.
11. Chose your output folder.
12. Then select your game that you ripped where it says 'Select...'
13. Click Go.
14. It's now converting your game into a eboot.pbp.
15. After thats done look in your output folder you selected. You should have an EBOOT.PBP and KEYS.BIN files
16. Place these in X:\PSP\GAME\(create a folder for your Game) (X is the letter of your PSP drive)
17. Run your game from GAME --> Memory Stick
18. Enjoy!
This quick tutoril from from memory so please forgive me if there are mistakes anywhere. I'll have the full guide with photos as soon as possibe. :)

Would this work for the Slim PSP? I have a PSP Slim running CFW 3.71 M33-4 and have pasted the eboots (of games I already own) into my Game directory. However, when I start the eboots from the xmb, i get an error message telling me the game could not be started. Does anybody know how I can fix this? Thanks.

The easy way to convert your PSX games is to use the AutoPopstation4. This has way less user prompts and very quickly copies and converts your games.

as the link bellow is not working. How ever this is what i think could be the cause.
In XMB Press Select, Go Down To UMD Iso Mode, Change that to M33 Driver.
i couldnt seem to play any eboots untill i changed this
but it should work now
if this isnt it
Please post the picture again as i cant seem to view it

Will updating my PSP to 3.71 m33-3 make it work because on m33-2, I try to load it and it would say "This title has been formatted to play on the PSP BLah blah blah" and it will just freeze. Will M33-3 fix this problem?
Thank You!!
