eurovox max serious 2008, Help needed badly

just bought eurovox max serious 2008,know nothing about them to be honest'could someone tell me if i need a sim card for it to work for me.

 

I'm living in belfast and only have broadband ntl,can connect the box up but not a thing is happening

Sorry meant Smart Card,told you i know nothing bout these things.Seriously thu if i dont have a smart card then is this eurovox box no good to me?

Yes i have the ntl broadband,had the origanal ntl box in but didnt have any package for any channells,only the ones they give to you for free.So yep there is a cable feed here.

 

When i set up the eurovox box,i cant even get to move from the stand by mode,obvoiusly im doing some wrong,sorry for annoying you.

Yes I have it in the RF connecter,everything is connected as shown in the instructions nothing at all happening,as i said even the eurovox box wont move from the standby mode. Thanks

 

sounds like box has no firmware loaded on to it.is it just stuck in standby mode??can u even access the menu??

 

Yes its stuck on the standby mode ,no access to the menu.When i was buying it i was told all the lastest firmware and channell data transfer was all on it.I did'nt even get the rs232 null modem cable with it which i should have so maybe the box is dodgy.

 

dont know anyone that got null modem with box.i had to buy mine.anyway u have to flsh your box to get it up and running.do you know wot this means??

Evening jboyle here to torture you again,everything set up as in the euro box is connected to the computer,how do i go bout flashing it.what do i down load or upload.I have'nt a clue. Cheers

I am ex C&W now on n*l i have a eurovov and am getting the normal freeview chan
i cant seem to get the movies & f**tie also have a lot of sticky chan

Hello,Fitzy1,If you go back to the page where you found this topic and go to Eurovox and confused.Read through the pages and you will get some codes to enter into your box it might help.I,m in belfast but have used these and got a lot of channells from them.Maybe help you aswell.Goodluck dooter
