Xbox 360 Core Console and AV Cables?

Hello,
If the Core 360 comes with standard av cables not component and I have
a the HD Add On Player, wouldn't I have to have Component Cables to
watch Hd Dvd Movies.

how about a hdmi cable, i just bought a replacement xbox for one of my systems that i sold, it was a core system and indeed had only component cables but it did have hdmi so thats the way i went.

If your system came with composite cables (red/white/yellow) and you want a good picture or HD movies you need to step up to, at the least, component cables (red/blue/green). Or you could go with HDMI if you have the port as that would be your best type. Then there is also VGA which will work great too.
