hi,i have been burning movies for quite some time now but recently i've been having problems ...when i try to convert my avi files with convertx2 dvd my computer freezes...this never happend b 4 and i do not know how to solve the problem...can anyone help?
did this just happen one day your system was working fine and the next day it would start giving you problems? if yes just do a system restore to the day before you started having problems, and everything should be fine, also it could be that you installed a program that your system don't like and if so you should take that program off of your system.
this happened to me a couple of year back. my computer was freezing during converting. i found out my mother board was on the way out so i had that replaced. now ok.. this might not be what is wrong with yours tho
Hi, Are you trying to convert a file with an audio stream like this: 12/17/2007 4:36:05 PM info Stream #0 - Audio: wmav2, 44100 Hz, stereo, 88 kb/s ?
Well without any more information it could seriously be any number of 1001 things that can possibly go wrong... Your source file might be corrupted, have an unreadable sector, etc.. Your source maybe in an incompatible format.. You might be running out of disc space.. Your computer might be overheating.. You might have recently made some hardware changes that are causing device driver conflicts.. Your computer might be locking up for entirely different reason all together! Help us cut out the guess work by: -Posting your Specs -Posting a log -Telling us what movie your trying to convert, what format it's in, if your running any other applications while converting,etc... Were not mind readers
