What you need to do is install bin 100, then the latest bin (170). the latest bin will give you up to date lnb setting choices. What kind of lnbs do you have guj?

I have never even heard of UNICO before. When I read this I thought "What the heck kind of LNB is that?" I think it must be used prodominantly in Mexico/Spanish speaking communities. Virtually all info on it is in spanish!

Perhaps, gujiboi, you have Spanish as your language on your receiver?? I am now interested.

Hi guy's. I really hate to re-hash the same problem, but I tried the suggestions with no luck. This is everything I have. 1 viewsat ultra, 1 coolsat 5000. 1 dish 500 two reciever dish. 2 cables out of the dish 500, 1cable to the viewsat 1 cable to the 5000. All up on the dn. How can I ty the dir. t.v. dish, aimed at b*v into the dish 500 on the same cables.

If there is 1 lnb on your DTV then aim at 91, if two aim at 91 and 82. If 1 buy a DiSEqC switch and use port 3 for 91, if 2 buy a DiSEqC switch and use 91 on port 3 and 82 on port 4.

Blank I tried the diseQ switch. The 91 comes in fine on port 3. what do you put on # 1 and #2 on the new switch.

If you have 2 cables comming out to 2 diff receivers that tells me that 119 and 110 are on 1 cable. so get 2 Diseqc switches, hook the cable to port 1 and 91 to port 3, in settings set 119-1 110-2 and 91-3 on both stb's

Thank-you Blank. That is what I tried but when I did the switch erased one of the sats. The switch I have might be wrong. I am trying the switch that came with the ultra reciever. It is a sw-41 4x1 diseqc switch.

Are your lnbs DP or DPP and a sw41 is a Dish Pro version of a 4x1 switch. Does your DN lnbs each have 2 outputs? Look at the settings now with the 1 cable connecting to each stb and neatly incude all settings then i can tell you what do if you provide all info in detail.

Morning Blnk. Sorry for the misspelling of your call name. I will start at the dish. The lnb,s are encased in a big factory plastic unit with the switch inside. There are two outputs line 1 to the view and line 2 to the cool. There is also a port for an lnb input. I was told the input on the dish 500 was for sat 128 or 121. I don't need either one of those. I tried to put the B*V lnb into it, but it won't go to each system. It skips some of the channels. The settings on the machines are L.N.B. type ocs.dp Freq 119 11250 110 11250 Diseq1 port1 Diseq1 port2 The B*V is listed as standard L.N.B with two outputs at the l.n.b I hope I told you everything if I did not please ask for more info.

how many coax comming out of the encased lnb? these are dishpro lnbs and there is a sw21 switch internally that if you hook up a 4x1 diseqc switch it will work. In order to get 91 you must aim a seperate dish at 91.0W if you need a sat calculator i will give you a link. So put 2 DISEqC switches 1 before each of your stb. In settings keep both the same, just add: 91.0W 11250 lnb power on. lnb type. 1.standard 22khz OFF, motor off, committed 3 for both stb's. very important since there is 2 coax going to DISEqC switch 119/110 cable to port 1, 91 to port 3, to receiver to stb. make sure 91 lnb is a dual output for both DiseQc switches (1 for cs other for vs 4x1 switch)

    Hope this makes sense
