all in one converter

does anybody now any program that converts a large library of file types? like flv. to divx. mpeg to divx, avi to divx vica versa? i just want a program that can convert many things, does not have to be a freeware as i am willing to buy one, just want one thats really good.

id also like if the converter would add 2 videos together also, like if i had a part one and part two, and i want to turn them into just one video file.

if possible, would there also be another one with an all in one audio converter? similar to the video converter im asking for, but for audio files?? again, doesnt have to be freeware.

i know divx converter does that, but i dont really like that one.
