Hey guys....I have a Sharp Aquos 46" LCD TV and I want to buy a an HD Player

Do you guys Think HD-DVD is Better then Blu-Ray? and Why?

I was also thinking about getting a PS3, install Linux on it, get a wireless mouse/keyboard and use the PS3 as my Blu-Ray Player and As a Computer to browse the internet on the TV. And sometimes play some games..

Would you guys think thats a good idea or would you rather get a Blu-Ray Player....Which would you buy..and why?

    THANX :D

U should get the ps3 bluray player. Its awesome not only will u be able to play amazing games, but watch bluray movies in full hd 1080p. Bluray is much better then hddvd cuz it has more studios supporting it like disney and sony (u cont see national treasure2, iam legend, spiderman3, etc on hd dvd, and much much more. Plus bluray has more storge space for interactivity, and bonus features. Plus if u the ps3 u will get spiderman 3 on bluray plus 5 more free bluray movies (walmart deal) for free! Great deal cuz bluray movies cost 20-30 bucks! ps3 also features great media stuff, like a fully functuional internet browser, store tons of HD movies, pictures, music. Download free game demos, music trailors, pictures, movie trailors, etc on the playstation store. (and very soon it will support DIVX support and have a movie download service/music download service!!!) Get the ps3!!! Go bluray (i own 13 bluray movies on my 37in hdtv and i am blown away by picture!)
