Hi every1, i am using clony xxl 2.o.0.6 to detect protections i have the so called english version but the most important part that tells you what protection has been detected is still in German. Scanning the disk "music maker by magix dance edition" detects the protection as Def.Sektoren, and reports that there is an illegal TOC and bad sectors and a 4 skull rating. In the protections menu the discription of Def.Sektoren is still in German, i can make out the words safedisc 1+2, laserlock and RingPROTECH from the German discription but if i use Alclhol 120% to write an image file safedisc 1+2 and laserlock are seperate protections?, which protection do i use? or do i use customise and check the boxes that clony has found, such as illegal TOC and bad sectors? I have managed to copy the disk and it works fine but this is more by luck than judgement and i would like to know the proper interpretation of the Def.Sektoren protection and how to input this to Alcohol 120%. Also is there a site/database of known protections for various programs/games that people can consult and add to? Thanx regards, coasterboy. Load ClonyXXL abd then go to options\tools and change the flag from German to English m8.(over to the right, down at the bottom) Alcohol 120% settings for burning Illegal TOC: Skip read errors Fast skip error blocks Read subchannel data from current disc. Burn RAW DAO at 8x. Shoey
