I Downloaded this and am running the full version. It is supposed to be able to convert just about any video format into any other. I had no problem converting an AVI file to a WMV file it worked perfectly. However I then tried to convert a RM file to WMV. The program says it can do this. It can, but for some reason it won't recognize the correct file length. The Real Media video is on my PC it's not a streaming link. The movie is not copyright protected, and is about 90 minutes long. However when I open it as the source file with Xilisoft video converter, it says the movie is only 7:49 minutes long. All I get out of it is the opening credits. It only seems to happen with RM files. AVI files it reads the correct length. Any idea what's going wrong?

Yeah it could be a corrupted file.Try a different RM file or different converter.

I have had the same problem as the original poster, but what my main issue is with this software is that the audio most of the time sounds like it's in a tin can. At least that is the best way I can describe it. There is this weird echo for some reason. The original file sounds fine but once converted it's got that echo. I am using the full registered version and am trying to convert for viewing on my zune.
