I bougt a wire from tiger direct. It is supposed to go from the vga output on my laptop to the component input on my tv. Plugging a monitor into the laptop works the right way but not the wire to tv setup. I only got a picture once. When I did, it was like the old cable when you didn't pay for the pay-per-view how it was scrambled and wavy. It was just my desktop. Picture was fine on the computer but not on the tv. I tried to adjust the video output to all combinations but to no avail. My tv is a Hitachi 51F510 51 inch tv. I got it about 3 years ago. Not the newest thing, but I want it to work. Please help. I spent about $30 on this frickin wire.
