ATI Radeon X1270 (ATI Radeon X1200 Series (0x791F)) 2gb ram AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-56 1.79 GHz windows vista basic the game is working and all but the fps is terrible its all choppy kinda like bad lag if i have the camera on a top down view it runs smoothly i got everything on low settings any idea why its playing choppy(?) and how i can fix it? i have the feeling its the vista and im thinkin about downgrading(or upgrading ;P) to xp but i dont wanna mess up my laptop
Do you have many processes running in the background while you are playing? Personally I don't mind if you curse, but its against the rules and the moderators don't like it. Just a warning =D
not that many processes i tried to get rid of as many as i could basically just the ones that i knew were programs that i opened everything else was pretty much system stuff that i didnt wanna mess with ps thanks for the warning
Anytime I'm guessing its vista, because your processor is good and your video card is good too. I would suggest switching to xp not just for games to work either. Maybe someone else has a better answer, but thats my best shot.

Maybe someone else has a better answer, but thats my best shot. well thanks for the answer anyway im pretty sure it was vista too i had some problems with other games too on it. so now im playing the game on another computer i have built it myself. winxp home amd athalon 64 4000+ 2.41ghz 2gb ram nvidia geforce 7900 gs ASUS A8N-SLI Premium 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI anyway when i got it i thought itd be able to handle some good graphics it plays smoothly sometimes but every once in a while it will just glitch/freeze for a solid 20 seconds then when i can finally play again part of the game will be morphed into some giant pointy structure. i cant really describe it better than that, ill try and see if i can get a video of it with fraps or something. any suggestions on how i can fix this problem would be greatly appreciated
