Can you extract an .iso file to your hard drive so the contents of that file can be burned on a disc? Please help!
Why yes you can m8. Simply use CDMage(freebie) and drag-n-drop the iso in the upper left dialog box. Now look to the right and you'll see the entire content of the iso image. Left click (hold down) and highlight all the files with your mouse and right click and choose extract files. If the iso is a pc game then don't mess extracting m8 as this is a waste of your valuable time.<--- Trust me CDMage:http://cdmage.orcon.net.nz/frames.html Shoey _X_X_X_X_X_[small]Certified Computer Technician http://www.afterdawn.com/general/legal.cfm Mobo: MSI KT4VL-6712 CPU: AthlonXP Barton 2500+ Ram: 512 SD-DDR (PC-2700) nVidia GeForce4 MX440-8x Maxtor ATA\133 80 gig hd DVD-ROM: LiteOn LTD 165H DVDRW: LiteOn LDW-411S(4[/small]

============================================== Command& Conquer Generals(Safedisc 2.8.x)& Command& Conquer: Zero Hour(Safedisc 2.9.x)are 2 cd sets. Post the name brand& model # of your burner and I'll point you in the right direction on how to backup m8. Shoey
Your Hp 9600 is a "1 sheep burner" (writes regular bit patterns almost correctly. If using CloneCD then write "amplify weak sectors" for cd1 and play the backup in your HP 9600 with CloneCD running in system tray (startup) with option enabled "hide cd-r". Burn cd2 as data m8. thanx shoey but the prob. is that i've downloaded the iso from net. so how can i burn that iso with clonecd?
and one more question. sorry for asking so many questions. can i check iso files with clonyXXL?if not, is there any program to do that?
Yes but i doubt any useful information will be gleaned other than 'Unknown/Other Protection'. This is prolly because the ISO format doesnt record a lot of info.
