Hi guys Latly my pc speakers have been making a strange clicking noise which is echoey, at 1st i thought i was the speakers so i changed them and the same happned, ive noticed when the noise happens there are lines across my moniter, is this interference or is there summat wtong with my pc, i have moved all elecronic things away it still happens, if anybody knows what might be causing this your comments will be helpfull thanks
I'm going to assume it's a CRT monitor you're using, as LCDs shouldn't be vulnerable to such interference. If it's an LCD, it may be a fault with the monitor itself causing the problem.
Hmm, it sounds like it could potentially be a problem with the monitor then. Are there any others you can try and see if the problem still occurs?
I dont know why but it seemed to have stopped all by its self mmm scratching my head on this one thanks for your replys anyway
***Reply if the issue returns*** Where is the noise comming from, out of the speakers or from within the PC case? Does the noise go away if the speakers are disconnected? Does your PC have a Video card, or integrated motherboard video? What brand and model PC? How old? What brand and model monitor? How old? What OS, WinXP or Vista?
