My computer won't shut down. I click "turn off" and it buzzes at me...

    I follow the Start > Turn Off Computer > Turn Off steps but when I click "Turn Off", the computer buzzes at me and nothing else changes. It's actually something inside the computer tower that buzzes when I click it. The computer is obviously operational still--everything appears fine. I just can't turn it off. Help?

    Have you tried running a full Scan disk check on the c:

    And then doing Disk Defrag, i could be you have a bad sector when it comes to certain system files.

    The buzzing may be your hard drive stuttering.
