Hey guys, im kinda new here so please bear with me. I dont know if I even put this in the correct section or not.

Anyways, I just bought a Xbox 360 and I want to connect to my Harmon/Kardon home theater system. The problem is I just dont know how to do it. Yea its probably something very simple but im just an idiot when it comes to this. I read the manual but I really dont understand it.

I have a premium Xbox 360.
The home theater system is called Harmon/Kardon. Its a 7.1 home theater sytem. The model number is AVR 335.

Any help from you guys is really appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

just plug the audio/video cables into the back of the receiver to whichever input you want the 360 to be on. as simple as that.

I got the green, blue, and red cables. However, dont I need to put in the white, red, and yellow cables in somewhere also (I know I dont put in the yellow cable anywhere, but what about the red and white)? Or do I just need the green, blue, and red cables.

Btw, thanks.

I was thinking about plugging in my green, blue, and red cables into number 14, and I dont know where to plug in the red and white audio cables. Any suggestions on that?

Plug the video plugs (red, yellow, green) into #14. if you want true surround sound, then DO NOT plug in the red and white plugs. leave those unplugged.

go get an optical cable and plug into #26.

that will give you 5.1 surround sound. i'm not sure if 360 games support true 7.1 surround sound yet. someone else might know better.
