Once the CPU goes to 100% not sure where your seeing this, but I guess it's in system Tray? Here's the steps to take to temporarily remove the process from running: R/Click System Tray(area where clock is located)>Task Manager>Applications Tap>This will show wants running>Processes Tap>In the CPU column locate which process is using up all the CPU power. This will probably be a scanning tool of an antivirus, antispyware program, or something else. Once you locate it let me know the (Image name). And for now you can just end the process by r/clicking the power hungry item and selecting End Process.
This could be a virus there are some that pop up and act like the SVCHOST.exe but don't stop them they are a vital part of the OS, try running a virus scan http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ this is a good Virus and Mal-Ware scanner and you don't have to pay or have to download but it takes for ever
i thought the guy was asking if there is a program that pops up when the cpu goes to 100%. am i right or is he asking if there is a virus that makes pop ups at 100%?
