Transfer From Old Computer to New Onen ?/

    Hi,
    I'm getting a new computer and was wondering if there was easy way to
    transfer all the programs and files from my old computer to my new one.

    connect old hd as slave. copy & paste files from old hd to new hd. programs if installed have to be reloaded as they are spread all over the place & in the registry.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the input. I heard somewhere that you could buy a cable
    and software that would link between the 2 computers and transfer the data and programs ??

    can use a crossover ethernet cable. can use the home office setup in windows to link the 2 pc's.
