How are you trying to view them on your computer?

Is that video camera an old analog VHS-C camcorder? If not, how did your take the pictures? Is it an intregal part of the video?
If so, the resoultion won't be good, but there are programs out there, that can extract a photo, from a video clip.
One such program is Roxio Easy Media Creator 10.

It was pictures taken on a very new Camcorder (digital). It takes video and then you can take snapshots. It even has the little camera image on what are photos in between. I have the images open, but I am not able to save them. It gives the option to CONFIGURE and then it goves me some sort of snap shot option. wHAT CAN i DO....
It lookes like a .BMP

Read the owners manual, as a start. My newer Sony, takes pictures on a separate "chip" which I download via USB cable.
I use firewire for the video, from the tape.
What format is your camcorder?

I cant use USB. The pic is in BMP. I just need to save it to my files. All rules were followed by the manual as far as , "Finalizing" of the recorded dvd

Then you have a miniDVD video camera. Copy the files, from the miniDVD, to your hard drive.
Are the .bmp files, in a separate folder, or are they actually part of the video?

Then you need a program that will extract the photos, from the video. I listed one such program, earlier in this thread.
No matter which program you find/use, the resolution of those photos will not be near the resolution from a digital camera.
Did any software come with your video camera? Maybe that software has a way to separate the photos from the video.

Not legally. Did you get any software with your video camera?

Good grief! Get a grip, dude! What part of my last post did you miss?
If you don't want to contact Panasonic, either get a digital camera for your pictures, or get a camcorder that has a separate card for taking pictures.
