Hi all, I know im probably going to get grilled for asking this but I cannot find any posts tht helps me how to solve the problem I have. I am trying to back up my dvds with DVD shrink and everything was working well until I realised tht some films tht used subtitles (in places) did not have he subtitles on. eg: when in films parts are spoken in different languages and subtitles come on. I have searched and found ways to rip the subtitles with the video off the DVD but I only want the subtitles that come on when they do in the movie, I dont want subtitles all the way through. I hope that makes sense and any help would ben greatly apreciated. As I said I use DVD shrink for the backups and then I convert some of my movies for my ipod. Once again any help would be greatly apreciated.
I think you're talking about forced subtitles that are in the normal subtitles.You can make only the forced ones visible using DVDSubEdit.
